ResponsibilitiesDraft and negotiate commercial contracts for Travelport's customers in Latin America and other areas as determined by the Senior Counsel - Legal Americas.Populate contract templates in English and Spanish with pre-approved commercial terms.Provide legal advice and negotiations support to the Travelport teams that manage Travelport's customer relationships.Advise senior legal team on relevant travel industry and legal developments in Latin America.Facilitate communications between sales teams in Latin America and decision support teams in corporate offices.Update and maintain dual-language standard contract templates. Keep up to date on Travelport's internal systems, processes, financial requirements, product offerings and other business strategies and objectives.Provide a business sensitive, value added approach to the delivery of high quality work product and adequate legal controls, on a timely basis, to Travelport's business units.Retain and monitor outside counsel, as required, in various areas of concern. Provide timely and thoughtful legal advice on potential risks and issues.Provide support with respect to other issues and areas affecting Travelport's business and operations as required.Requirements/QualificationsMust have a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school or foreign degree equivalent; and Membership in good standing in at least one (1) State Bar in the United States.Experience must include:2 years of relevant transactional work experience drafting and negotiating a variety of domestic and international contracts, including commercial contracts in the Spanish language governed by principles of the civil law system;1 year of experience with providing legal advice in connection with cross-border business transactions involving countries in Latin America; andMust have written and verbal fluency in Spanish to communicate with Travelport's customers in Latin America (60%)..Employer's Job# 4938BRPlease visit job URL for more information about this opening and to view EOE statement.
