The person selected will work with our clients to craft contracts that meet our business needs and those of our customers, review marketing materials for the customers supported, and help our clients get answers to the many legal questions that arise on a day-to-day basisFunction Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:Assist clients in developing business terms for contracts.Under the supervision of our attorneys, provide legal and/or business advice to associates with respect to day-to-day operations.Develop legal subject matter expertise in relevant practice area(s).Review, edit and comment on agreements drafted by others (e.g., business clients, other Company paralegals, counterparties).Develop complex agreements or provisions that require significant independent drafting.Negotiate contracts with limited authority to make final decisions on legal issues.Draft non-complex agreements with or without the use of templates.Track contract execution and follow up on expiration/renewal.Provide training to clients and colleagues regarding significant recurring legal issues.Draft term sheets for contract negotiations.Explain contractual relationships to Clients and counsel clients on the implications that such relationships have on the Company's strategies and actions.Collaborate with legal counsel for bottlers, customers, suppliers, sponsorship properties and other counter-parties with respect to managing or otherwise responding to mutual legal obligations, opportunities and risks.Monitor the development of the Company's contractual relationships with and obligations to bottlers, customers, suppliers, sponsorship properties and other counterparties.Review and approve advertising, marketing and communications materials to ensure legal compliance and minimize liability.Education Requirements/Related Experience:Associates degree and/or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies/Education from an ABA approved program or a Bachelors degree with a Paralegal Studies Certificate from an ABA approved program.2 years related experience as a transactional paralegal preferredExperience working in a law firm or large corporate legal departmentProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Leadership Behaviors:Drive Innovation: Generate new or unique solutions and embrace new ideas that help sustain our business (encompassing everything from continuous improvement to new product and package innovation)Collaborate with System and Stakeholders: Develop and leverage relationships with stakeholders to appropriately stretch and impact the System (Company and Bottler)Act Like an Owner: Deliver results, creating value for our brands, our System, our customers and key stakeholdersInspire Others: Inspire people to deliver our mission and 2020 Vision, demonstrate passion for the business and give people a reason to believe anything is possibleDevelop Self and Others: Develop self and support others development to achieve full potentialGrowth Behaviors:Growth Mindset: Demonstrates Curiosity.
