Our client is looking for a self-motivated Legal Assistant to ensure effective case management and office functions. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney as well as independently. The Legal Assistant will have the following responsibilities: Provide administrative support to 3 lawyers in all aspects of civil litigation, including trial preparation Handle communications with clients, witnesses, etc. Answer and direct phone calls Maintain contact lists Monitor deadlines and maintain calendars Prepare court documents and discovery materials Prepare correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, etc. Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research Locate and develop case-relevant information
