The Royal Dutch Shell (“Shell”) in-house competition (antitrust) team and its members have won many international and national external antitrust awards over a number of years, including ILO Global Antitrust Team of the Year, Women in Compliance Innovator of the Year, the Legal Business in-house under 40’s awards and many more.
The team is internationally known and respected in the antitrust / competition law field both in-house and in private practice and amongst antitrust agencies. Shell’s antitrust team constantly handles complex but fascinating issues at the forefront of antitrust developments. Specialist knowledge and experience of antitrust laws (gained within a highly regarded law firm, antitrust agency or in-house)is essential as a minimum for this role
Solid experience in antitrust merger control, cartel investigations and antitrust compliance advice.
Knowledge and experience of a number of international antitrust laws (including EU antitrust laws) is required.
Sound legal experience and a calm, confident, practical, solutions-oriented approach.
Strong presentation skills.
A good team player.
An ability to interact effectively with clients at all levels in our organisation and other lawyers, both in-house and in private practice.
A knowledge of antitrust economics is a distinct advantage.
Fluency in a number of languages is a distinct advantage.
