JOB REQUIREMENTS: We currently have an excellent opportunity available for a Project Assistant in our Intellectual Property Department. The selected candidate will provide support services to the Intellectual Property team attorneys and paralegals in the prosecution of U.S. and foreign patents. Responsibilities include preparation of routine correspondence to clients and foreign associates and assisting with the preparation of patent prosecution filing documents, information disclosure statements and PTO/SB/08 forms. Other duties include the recordation of assignment documents, proofing of issued patents, ordering patent copies, obtaining documents or information from various websites and other tasks pertinent to the successful operations of our Intellectual Property Department or as assigned. Other qualifications include excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong customer service orientation and oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel and clients are essential.
