What we’re looking for:
We are currently seeking attorneys with strong corporate legal experience across multiple practice areas including governance, commercial transactions, investments, compliance, and M&A. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high quality legal services to clients and will also have significant contract negotiations experience.
Additionally required is the ability and drive to procure, cultivate, and sustain his/her own client base. Ideally, candidates will have a solid client base and a portable book of business of at least two hundred and fifty thousand dollars per annum. This is an excellent career opportunity for practitioners who wish to focus on client services and leave administration to others.
Minimum seven years of legal and client facing experience successfully handling major business transactions, including financings/investments, secured lending, acquisitions, divestitures, licensing and technology transfer,joint ventures and new business launches.
Ability to lead contract negotiations and provide practical legal advice and support on transactions.
Portable book of business of at least two hundred and fifty thousand dollars annually.
Previous experience successfully generating revenue.
Demonstrated supervisory experience, ability to manage people as practice grows, including attorneys in other firm offices.
Must be a member of the bar in New York State.
