The Corporate Services practice group within the firm's Legal Department is hiring a corporate attorney that will be primarily responsible for supporting the firm's recovery and resolution planning (RRP) efforts, in addition to providing legal support for other corporate, M&A and strategic projects.

Attorney will provide legal and strategic advice related to RRP matters and serve as the lead attorney liaison to the firm's Office of Recovery and Resolution Planning (ORRP). Responsibilities will include: providing counsel on the development and implementation of global RRP initiatives; staying abreast of regulatory developments and analyzing impacts of new regulations and guidance; driving and supporting execution of strategic projects related to recovery and resolution planning; managing internal and external teams; collaborating with businesses and business partners to effect reorganizations and internal restructurings; and supporting legal entity governance initiatives.

Attorney will also provide various other support to Corporate Services attorneys including on strategic projects, M&A transactions, restructurings and other corporate matters.


Qualifications

    Qualifications / Experience

    Minimum of three years' experience as a corporate attorney in a recognized law firm having a well-regarded corporate practice or in a corporate law department of a public company or financial institution. An ideal candidate would have prior RRP and/or strong M&A or corporate experience. Candidates with financial institutions, regulatory and/or bankruptcy experience will also be considered.
