The Finance Attorney will provide legal guidance and support for organizational legal issues including expanded jurisdictions, securitizations, structured financing, and other financial agreements.

  • Take a legal leadership role and negotiate and close various bond transactions, including in jurisdictions new to Ygrene.

  • Assist in non-recourse lending, corporate facilities, securitizations, and structured financings.

  • Provide advice and support company-wide on a variety of legal issues on a daily basis in a timely and effective manner.

  • Collaborate with representatives from various departments on developing and modifying practices and procedures to conform with legal requirements, including new jurisdictions.

  • Formulate and implement corporate legal policy concerning a variety of legal issues.

  • Identify, research and analyze relevant federal, state and local requirements and translate the requirements into business solutions.

  • Act as a liaison with outside law firms.

  • Participate in due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transactions including drafting and reviewing agreements.

  • Must have a J.D. Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or related field

  • 4+ years of law firm experience

  • Knowledge of financial transaction work in public and/or structured finance.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong collaborative skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and high ethical standards.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
