Job Summary

THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO 2ND OR 3RD YEAR PITT LAW STUDENTS.

Research fellows use a variety of legal research tools to locate and disseminate content from primary law, government publications, and relevant secondary sources.

Job Requirements

Conduct searches in PittCat, assorted journal databases, and the following legal research databases: Lexis, Westlaw, Hein Online, Bloomberg Law. Create and correct legal citations using The Blubook. Write summaries of complex and extensive readings. Pleasantly interact with co-workers and faculty. Be on time and present for office hours. Complete work in appropriate time.

Child Protection Clearances

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Hourly Pay Rate $8.00
