IMPORTANT: THIS IS ONLY AN ASSESSMENT. YOU WILL BE DIRECTED BY THE AIR FORCE PERSONNEL CENTER WHEN TO COMPLETEThis is a developmental position where you will perform the less complex tasks of the position independently and receive specific instructional guidance in the accomplishment of the more difficult assignments. The work will be reviewed for technical accuracy, soundness of approach, and compliance with policy. Assignments will become progressively more difficult in nature and are designed to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform at the next higher level. Promotion to the GS-09 level can occur without further competition once all training, regulatory, and performance requirements are met. DUTIES:

  • Develop, evaluate, and modify organizational structure and systems to achieve program goals.

  • Participate in organizational planning processes.

  • Administer the internal review, quality, and productivity initiatives for the organization.

  • Serve on various committees and implementation teams as roll-out of special programs or processes are established.

  • Responsible for resolving administrative issues and managing daily operations.

  • Required to manage and resolve requests for information from internal and external entities.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

FOR THE GS-05 GRADE LEVEL

At least 3 years, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4 General Experience, OR a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, OR a combination of education and general experience.

FOR THE GS-07 GRADE LEVEL

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 level. Examples: Analyzes and resolves routine problems, assists in preparing reports and briefings, participates in special initiatives, studies and projects,* ORone full year of graduate level education, OR*superior academic achievement, if related, OR a combination of education and experience.
