Job DescriptionAmazon.com is seeking an experienced corporate paralegal to assist with Section 16 reporting, provide support with other securities filings and public company corporate governance matters, manage the day-to-day insider trading compliance program, review 10b5-1 trading plans, and assist the team with corporate projects and maintenance of physical and electronic archival records. Impeccable written and oral communication skills, good judgment, keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to track multiple projects, and discretion handling confidential information are critical. Five years of experience as a corporate paralegal are required, preferably in both a large corporate law firm and a Fortune 500 company. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook required. Basic Qualifications* Five years of corporate paralegal or related experience with a law firm or public company. Preferred Qualifications* Bachelor's degree. * Hands-on, energetic and motivated self-starter who is intellectually curious. * Working knowledge of Section 16 reporting and compliance requirements. * Experience managing day-to-day insider trading policy compliance. * Experience with public company corporate governance matters, including but not limited to insider trading policies, the preparation of board and committee materials, and the conduct of the company's annual meeting of shareholders. * Excellent writing, editing, and oral advocacy skills. * Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Extremely responsive and a collaborative team player. * Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail. * Skillful project manager with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects in a highly demanding environment. * Excellent judgment and common sense.
