Leidos Contracts Negotiator in WASHINGTON, District Of Columbia


The NISC III program is hiring a Contracts Negotiator to provide support the Federal Aviation Administration in our Washington, DC offices.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide task order proposal and contractual administration for a portfolio of task orders

  • Perform work under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.

  • Understand Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) principles, concepts, practices and standards. Demonstrate knowledge of Contracts practices.

  • Represent organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and company policies.

  • Be required to administer task orders and work closely with multi-functional personnel.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience or Master’s degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

  • General experience in Contract Administration may be considered as a substitute for required years of experience

  • Good working knowledge of the FAR

Desired Qualifications or Experience:

  • Working knowledge of the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)
