Washington, D.C. - Robert Half is currently working with a global law firm who is seeking a Paralegal for the Litigation Practice group reporting to the Paralegal Manager. This position will reside in the Washington DC office and will be responsible for providing assistance to attorneys and trial teams with all aspects of case management including:
The discovery process, electronic filing, hearing preparation
Tracking and communicating case related dates and information
Database maintenance, and
The review and preparation of documents, reports and correspondence. This position will begin as soon as the right candidates are found and is expected to last 3-6 months. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
A minimum of eight (8) years of litigation paralegal experience with experience in filing requirements, and cite-checking is essential
The ability to handle the multiple responsibilities of case management in a fast-paced team environment and to be detail oriented
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Understanding of litigation support systems including, Case Notebook, Relativity, Sanction, Livenote, Concordance and IPRO, strongly desired
Proofreading and editing skills a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are important.
