Position Description:

We are looking for attorneys with experience in the life sciences industry to join our Legal and Regulatory Practice in our Orange County office for project based engagements. As a Consultant with RGP Legal, you will have the opportunity to assist clients in a variety of challenging projects that will make a positive impact on their ability to do business.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or similar industry

  • Extensive experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, such as clinical trial agreements, master services agreements, consulting agreements, manufacturing agreements, licensing and research collaborations; as well as agreements relating to the development, manufacture, supply and commercialization of therapeutics and diagnostics

  • Familiarity with and experience advising clients on compliance and regulatory matters, including FDA regulations (e.g. advertising, promotion and labeling), False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, OIG guidance, the PhRMA Code, HIPAA, Stark Law, Fraud and Abuse.

  • Graduate of top tier law school

  • Law firm and/or in-house experience required

  • Admitted to practice in California

  • Demonstrated track record of positive impact in all positions held

  • Ability to respond effectively and quickly to clients' needs and issues

  • Ability and desire to work within a team environment

  • Highly professional with superior verbal and written communications skills
