Litigation Trial Paralegal Our client, a leading national law firm in DTC is looking for a 5 plus years complex commercial litigation paralegal who will work with attorneys during all phases of the litigation process from the beginning of a case to the discovery period, through trial and post-trial findings and appeals. This position reports to the Litigation Practice Group Leader and the Managing Attorney of the Denver office. Responsibilities would include; organization and coordination of the production of documents using Bates-stamping, redaction, duplication and indexing, electronically scanning and properly categorizing documents, conducting document searches and factual research from a variety of resources, creating and maintaining internal databases, preparing witness materials, assisting with case preparation, preparing for depositions by organizing exhibits and gathering needed materials, preparing pleadings and other court filings; assisting in the preparation and filing of all court documents, maintaining and overseeing the ordering of transcripts from reporting services and fulfilling requests from outside counsel, preparing for and attending trial, including coordinating trial set-up and organizing files and taking notes in court. We are looking for Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 – Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Proficiency in Relativity and CaseMap, strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work through trials! You should have filed in all the court filing systems. A Paralegal Certificate or 4-year Degree in Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies is required for this position. 5 plus years of litigation paralegal experience is required for this position.
