For more than 35 years, we have grown rapidly inmarkets around the world to meet the evolving needs of our 16,000 clients.Job SummaryResponsibilities include title report reviews, identification of titleissues, curative actions to resolve complex high profile issues includinglitigated title issues, difficult foreclosure title situations, titleclaims and settlement issues, complex metes and bounds legal descriptionirregularities, provide partial release resolution for Executive Servicesand post-foreclosure title curative work for the REO department. High RiskTitle Issues include, but are not limited to liens by governmentalagencies, legal description errors, vesting issues, priorliens/judgments, unrecorded mortgage documents, prior mortgages, superlien issues, tax sales, missing assignments, REO title resolution andmortgage modification title review and recordation. This work can involvesworking with Client legal departments, third party legal counsel andinvestor rPosition Responsibilities and Essential FunctionsOpen title issues, track, process and close issues in High Risk Database.This includes managing spreadsheets, entering notes, following up andparticipating in reconciliations for invoicing.Determine appropriate curative action for title issues identified. This couldinclude, filing title claims, acquiring existing title policies,researching complex legal description errors, identifying resolution optionsfor Client, making recommends legal actions, researching issues using 3rdparty resources.Work with foreclosure attorneys, department management, client legalrepresentatives and appropriate third party resources to address specifictitle issuesInteract with customers, clients, vendors and other company departments asneeded to complete duties and requests.Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.The above information on this description has been designed to indicate thegeneral nature and level of work performed by employees within thisclassification.
