American Academy of Family PhysiciansParalegal/Contract Administrator18-18 The Paralegal/Contract Administrator, under the general direction and supervision of the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel, performs substantive legal work, with a primary focus on contract law. Responsible for preparation, review, revision, and negotiation of licenses, hotel contracts, professional services agreements, grants, and other legal agreements to achieve business objectives while mitigating risk to the organization. Handles corporate filings and compliance documentation. Assists in training and in maintenance of contracts database. No travel required. Performs other duties as assigned. * Minimum of five years' experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house setting, with strong emphasis on contracts. Experience with intellectual property, corporate transactions and recordkeeping, and/or litigation preferred. * Bachelor's degree plus completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program, or a comparable combination of relevant education and experience. * Strong organizational and critical thinking skills and attention to detail. * Ability to prioritize workflow and manage projects independently. * Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels of the organization as well as with outside stakeholders. * Proficient legal research and analysis skills. * Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe. * Ability to work well under pressure, perform effectively with minimal supervision, meet established deadlines, and multi-task efficiently.
