Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree qualified and England and Wales qualified solicitor.

  • Proven post qualified experience in a top tier law firm and preferably with some in-house experience.

  • Significant experience in a broad variety of commercial contracts work including licensing, IT and supply agreements.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability and interest in implementing new processes to improve efficiency.

  • Analytical skills.

  • Aptitude for cross-functional working (the role will require liaison with, amongst others, the real estate, construction, finance and business teams).

  • Interest and willingness to assist in the general company/commercial work undertaken by the legal department and to look for areas continual improvement.

  • Key characteristics – excellent drafting skills, experience in negotiating contracts, pro-active, self-starter, collegiate, energetic, determined and ambitious.
