A key responsibility will be working with business teams to draft, negotiate or review vendor and customer contracts. Other responsibilities will include assisting in commercial litigation and other dispute resolution matters; assisting in general commercial matters; assisting with merger and acquisition projects; and assisting with litigation and dispute management, regulatory matters and employment issues. Individual will also interpret existing and new laws and regulations, and provide guidance to business on legal and regulatory risk; provide guidance on compliance issues; and will identify and manage outside counsel responsibilities, results and costs.QualificationsA recent graduate from an accredited law school who has passed the bar in the State of Indiana or State of Connecticut. A willingness to travel to other company sites as needed is required. The ability to handle a broad range of business related litigated and non-litigated claims, including proficiency in tracking matters is required. This position requires someone that is self-motivated; has the ability to deal with short deadlines; and is able to work in a fast-paced work environment. The ability to multitask on a variety of time sensitive matters, excellent organizational and time management skills; excellent legal writing and communication skills; and attention to detail, are required. The selected candidate must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience in contract review pis referred.
