Experience in the areas of corporate governance, litigation management, policy drafting, mergers and acquisition and/or contract review/administration are preferred.Individual will maintain corporate activities, as well as analyze, draft and negotiate service contracts, vendor agreements, and confidentiality agreements to ensure compliance with company's standard terms; and will respond to proposed legal terms in contracts at the proposal stage in a concise and accurate manner. Individual may also assist with legal research, management of litigation discovery, including issuing and maintaining legal holds, collecting and organizing documentation and files, as well as respond to business subpoenas. Individual may also support acquisition work and Workers Compensation tracking. Individual will also support legal operations, including review of outside counsel invoices to ensure compliance with the Company's billing guidelines, and matter management, and preparation of reporting and analytics.QualificationsFive or more years of experience as a paralegal, along with a Bachelor's degree, are required. Paralegal Certificate a plus. The ability to handle a broad range of business related litigated and non-litigated claims, including proficiency in tracking matters is required. The ability to multitask on a variety of time sensitive matters, excellent organizational and time management skills; excellent legal writing and communication skills; and attention to details, are required. The selected candidate must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. The ability to pass a pre-employment a drug screen and background check are required.Preferred Qualifications: Two to three years of experience in a mid-size to large-size law firm, and/or three or more years of experience working in an in-house Legal Department, are preferred. Experience with e-billing and matter management tools, preferably Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker, are desired.This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
