Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced product and licensing attorney who will work closely with Apple's iCloud engineering, business and product marketing teams. This attorney will provide product advice and handle consumer facing issues and licensing agreements related to technology for use in Apple's iCloud-related products, as well as agreements related to strategic relationships.

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant legal experience advising on technology product-related issues and negotiating and drafting technology transactions.

  • Creative problem-solver with the business acumen to resolve complex issues in creative and efficient ways and give practical product advice.

  • Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, excellent time management and organizational skills, comfortable with healthy debate, and able to handle a variety of matters at once in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully build relationships and work with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, engineering, and business teams to build great customer-facing products and features.

  • Experience with international legal and regulatory compliance, privacy, consumer protection, and open source and security issues is desirable.

  • Experience working on cloud services and user accounts is desirable.Description

Apple is seeking an experienced products/licensing attorney to focus on product counseling and software licensing in support of Apple's iCloud-related products and services. Must have experience in the areas of intellectual property law, software and internet-related law, product advising, and software licensing. This position requires excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and drafting skills, the ability to work well with business and engineering teams, and great interpersonal skills.


JD and admission to at least one US state bar
