POSITION SUMMARY Provides hands-on legal counsel to teams across the Company. This position has significant responsibilities with respect to legal operations, leadership, contracts, compliance, transactions and partnerships, as well as daily opportunities to impact important business results. ROLE DESCRIPTION Work closely with business units across the Company to draft, review and negotiate a broad variety of complex commercial agreements with the Companys clients, vendors and business partners. Train, mentor and manage small team of attorneys, paralegals and other professionals. Determine appropriate levels of legal risk in Company contracts and provide legal approval accordingly. Provide practical and timely counsel and proactive advice to senior leadership on a variety of legal matters including key legal risks. Develop and implement action plans to mitigate legal risks. Apply innovative problem-solving skills and practical legal and business judgment to maximize revenue and minimize risk for the Company. Participate in, and potentially lead, company-wide initiatives. Represent legal in cross-functional process development and decision-making contexts. May provide support for mergers and acquisitions. Lead process improvements for the Legal team. Manage outside counsel on litigation and other matters. Our salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.
